Naked 2 Palette

Before you say anything, YES, I know that the Naked 3 Palette is out...but I don't have that kind of money. Personally, I like this palette the best. It's perfect for darker skin (Naked 1 is too light, and Naked 3 is too rosy) and it has the perfect sparkly to matte ratio. Sometimes I'm feeling glitzy, and sometimes I'm feeling neutral. Each shade stays on basically 24 hours and it's ridiculously easy to apply with the brush it comes that's included. If you have this palette and need some advice on what to use or how to use it, here's what I recommend:
1. Apply "Bootycall" all over the lid.
2. Apply "Tease" on the crease.
3. Apply "Busted" to the corners.

If you're ever so lucky enough to own one of these bad boys, let me know how you wear it!

Be fierce.

Baby Lips

(From left to right: Cherry Me, Pink Punch, Quenched, and Pink Shock)

I'm sure a million beauty gurus have already raved about how wonderful this product is. But frankly, I don't care...I will be that million and one...THESE ARE INCREDIBLE. The best part is that all of them taste like candy and smell so good. They're like a mixture between a lip balm and a lipstick, so they do give a slight tint (some more than others) but they are not as pigmented and vibrant as a lipstick would be. It says that it moisturizes lips for 8 hours, but I constantly reapply throughout the day. Besides that, there are SO many choices to choose from, but right now these are the ones I'm loving. If I had to choose one, it would have to be the Pink Shock. It gives the perfect pink tint and tastes like the sour patch kid candy. But honestly, why not choose them all?

You bring me joy.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner

Good morning/afternoon/night! Oh joy! Eye make up blog post! I used to be the type of person who hated putting on eyeliner. It was literally the hardest thing to do. But I was also the person who stuck to only pencil liner. I was too afraid to branch off to something different, for fear of not knowing how to apply it and looking like a hot mess. I cannot believe I let that happen, because this gel liner (in the color: Blackest Black) is the holy grail of eye liners. Personally, it is a million times easier to use than liquid liner or pencil liner. It comes with a little brush, and all you have to do is take some of the gel and use it as you would a pencil. Yet, it looks bolder, it stays on all day, and you can easily "do it up" or "do it down". However, it is one of the more expensive drug store pick ups. But the $7 - $9 range is definitely worth it. Nowadays, I'm more open to trying new things, so let me know what your favorite liner is!

Be you.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation

Let me tell you, I could wear this foundation all day everyday. I'm serious! My skin tone is pretty dark and I'm fairly oily, so the problem I always have with foundations is that it's hard to find products that have a wide color selection, but this foundation tackles both of those issues. I have it in the color "Toast", which suits me so perfectly that I can barely tell I'm wearing it. There are also 2 versions you can get, normal/dry skin or combination/oily. I obviously get the combination/oily, but I still have my oily moments throughout the day that need touch ups. That is honestly the only downside. Anyways, I use a wet beauty blender sponge to apply it. It goes on smooth, light, and covers up every area that is needed. I usually don't need concealer after I wear it. Although I love this foundation (and would recommend it to everyone), remember that everyone's skin is different and everyone's taste is different. So give it a try and let me know how you like it!

Stay Golden.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadow

Hey there! So these are Maybelline Color Tattoo eye shadow pots. Oh my goodness...I love these. Because they are cream shadows, I use my finger to apply them rather than a brush. Although that can be a downside, these definitely last the whole day and are super pigmented. Pictured above is Tough as Taupe (top), Pomegranate Punk (left), and Bad to the Bronze (right). Of the three, I like the Pomegranate Punk the best because it has a maroon tone that looks absolutely gorgeous on any skin tone. However, I also really like Barely Branded (which is a nude color) and Inked in Pink (which is a light pink color). Both look a little light on darker skin but still highlight very well. If you're not a fan of powder eye shadow or want brighter colors, I highly recommend trying these out!

You're lovely.
